By using Restitch ("the extension", "the service"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Description of Service

Restitch is a Chrome extension that helps users tailor resumes to job listings using AI. The service includes resume tailoring, ATS scoring, cover letter generation, document export, and application tracking.

2. Acceptable Use

  • You may use Restitch for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes.
  • You must not use the extension to submit fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated resume content.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the extension, or abuse the API.
  • You must not use automated tools or bots to interact with the extension or its backend services.

3. Free and Paid Tiers

The free tier includes 5 resume tailorings per month. Paid plans offer additional features and higher limits. Pricing and features are subject to change with notice.

4. AI-Generated Content

Restitch uses AI to suggest resume modifications and generate cover letters. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated output.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of Restitch is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the extension, you consent to the data practices described therein.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your resume content and any modifications you make. AI-generated suggestions and tailored output are provided for your personal use. The Restitch brand, code, and design are our intellectual property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Restitch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the extension will improve your job application outcomes, that ATS scores are accurate representations of any specific ATS system, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Restitch and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
