Need help with Restitch? You're in the right place.

Getting Started

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store and click the icon to open it.
  2. On the Resume tab, paste your resume text or upload a PDF, DOCX, or TXT file.
  3. Navigate to a job listing on LinkedIn, Indeed, or Glassdoor — the Restitch panel will appear automatically.
  4. Click "Tailor My Resume" to get an ATS-optimized version in under 60 seconds.

Common Issues

The panel isn't appearing on job listings

Make sure you're on a supported page: a job listing URL on linkedin.com/jobs, indeed.com, or glassdoor.com. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, disable and re-enable the extension from chrome://extensions.

"Failed to tailor" or server error

Check your internet connection. If the problem continues, the server may be briefly unavailable — wait a minute and try again. Persistent errors can be reported at the link below.

I hit my free tier limit

Free accounts get 3 tailorings per 30-day rolling cycle (plus 2 bonus tailorings in your first 30 days). Your limit resets 30 days from your signup date, not the 1st of each calendar month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited tailorings.

My Pro tier isn't showing after I subscribed

Log out of Restitch and log back in — this forces the extension to refresh your subscription status from the server. If it still shows Free, contact support below.

I need to cancel or change my subscription

Open the Restitch extension, go to the Account tab, and click "Manage Subscription" to access the Stripe billing portal. You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade from there.
